Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She received a BA at Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she obtained an MFA. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer working in theater, film and TV. Aunjanue. Ellis started her acting career in the theatre. In later years, she was a part in television series as well as independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known roles were in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's epic The Book of Negroes. The series both received reviews, and she also received a number of prizes.
