Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actor and singer. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native who was born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). She was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan with the family of a Polish mother and a father who was German, English Irish, Scottish and Irish. Kristen's passion for acting was discovered at a very young age. She went to her audition in 1992 and got the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mom introduced her to an agent when she was 13 and she got her first role for television and newspaper commercials. In addition to having private lessons and acting lessons, she started her career at that time. Bell was in a role of minor importance without credit in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the role of the lead Dorothy role. Following graduation, Bell made the move in New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts and learned about musical theatre. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the role of Becky of Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her debut on the credit screen as Becky in Pootie Tang. But, her scene was cut from the film and her appearance was only on the screen credits. Bell was seen together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
