Andree was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico and was brought up to El Paso, Texas. The family she comes from has an entertainment gene. Growing up, her family was full of television personalities, like Karla who was the host of Univision's Despierta America. In addition to her father, Andrew Martinez is vice-president for Safety, Security, and Business Resiliency in Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the most powerful electric utilities in the US. Andrew Martinez serves as vice president, Safety Security and Business Resiliency for Southern California Edison. SCE is among the largest electric utilities. Its primary goals are employee safety, security for corporate employees, and business resilience. He is responsible for the safety programmes and initiatives at SCE. Martinez assists safety leaders in achieving group safety objectives by providing supervision and guidance for them, as well as quality safety training programs. Martinez served as director of Safety Training and Compliance in Transmission & Distribution for SCE before assuming his current role. Previously, Martinez was the head of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. Over the 30-year period working at SCE Martinez held a number of management positions in programs that focused on improving efficiency and remedial actions. This included roles at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS where he was responsible for the security of employees and public.
