Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, also known as Camila Cabello, is a Cuban-born American actress, singer, and songwriter. She rose to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, but established herself as a solo artist with collaborations such as "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly. In 2016, she left the group and released her debut solo single "Crying in the Club". Her debut studio album, "Camila", reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart and received a platinum certification from the RIAA. Her lead single "Havana" topped charts in many countries, including the US and UK, and her duet with Mendes, "Se orita", became her second single to top the Billboard Hot 100. When she was six years old, she moved to Miami, Florida, with her mother, as her father could not get a visa at the time and joined the family around 18 months later. Cabello gained American citizenship in 2008 and attended Miami Palmetto High School, but left in the 2012-2013 school year to pursue her singing career.
