
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist currently associated with CNBC. She is a co-anchor for CNBC's programming 'Squawkon The Street', and Closing Bell'. A native of Ohio native and a native of Ohio, she wasn't too attracted to the world of markets and currencies in the years prior to her time in college. When she was a student at New York University, she completed an internship at an online startup called ForexTV.com. The first time she worked in the field of business news through this job. She then earned an advanced degree in broadcast journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. After that, she did a four month-long internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to America and started working in Bloomberg's New York office. In the end, she was a anchor on TV. In December 2013 she was recruited by CNBC as reporter. After working as co-anchor on "Worldwide Exchange" and Power Lunch', she was employed by CNBC in the month of December 2013. She then got the position in the year following Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen has been co-anchoring "Squawk on The Street" since 2014. Her main focus since her joining CNBC has been global news for consumers.
