
Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975 is an American actor, director, and producer. She is also a host of a talk show, host and writer. She is part of the Barrymore actor family and has been awarded numerous awards and nominations , including an Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award. She was also nominated for seven Emmy Awards and a British Academy Film Award. In 2004, she was honored with an honorary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was a well-known kid actor due to her performance in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a turbulent childhood filled with drug and alcohol addiction, she wrote Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. She appeared in numerous successful films in the 1990s and the 2000s, such as Charlie's Angels, Never Been Kissed, Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After. Barrymore and Adam Sandler starred in the films The Wedding Singer 50 First Dates Blended, The Wedding Singer 50 First Dates and Firestarter, Donnie Darko and Riding in Cars with Boys are some of her other films. In Whip It, her directorial debut film, she also played a lead role. Grey Gardens was her first film. She received a Screen Actors Guild Award, and the Golden Globe Award. She was a star in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet. She currently hosts The Drew Barrymore Show, the talk-show that is syndicated.
